A GROWING PASSION THROUGH TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Choosing teaching as my profession over and over again entails from the experiences I had which inspired me to be one. Those are my turning points where I have reached the level of making it as my life-long service and mission. There were moments telling me that teaching is where I want to be and supposed to be. For me, experiencing teaching is like doing something that my heart shouts for. It is a deep-rooted choice that continuously grows and deepens as I am and have been experiencing teaching. There was never a time where I tended to change the course I wanted to pursue for I have a burning flame for teaching ever since I was able to teach my classmates when I was young. That experience gave me a satisfaction feeling that sprouted my desire to be an educator. As I grew older, the doors were slowly opening for me as I gained teaching experiences and they brought different realizations that pushed me to my limits. It slowly turned into a passion as I felt that my exhaustion felt nothing from the priceless feeling I had after successfully teaching and embedding learning to others.

Today, being exposed in the field and experiencing different methods and situations in teaching diverse learners grows the passion I have within my heart. The opportunities given to us to take part in classes do not just prepare me alone, but these open my eyes even more to the beauty of the teaching profession. Through teaching experience, I can see myself being decisive, driven and determined into something. Bringing out the best in me each day before entering the classroom and facing the students made me see how much hard work I am willing to give for this. I can see that the exposure and teaching practices I am doing made me love and want the teaching even more. Despite the tiring days and challenges I have met during practice teaching, it is still something that I want to do the next day. Experiencing the profession can turn it into passion that can win over money. Teaching experiences give necessary inputs and practices, but it made me realize the intensity of my passion and how strong it can be.

My genuine goals and value for teaching grow each time I grab an opportunity. Active involvement creates a huge impact in knowing the true passion of a person. Experience brings learning that I may not get from books and classroom discussions as much as it brings a strong sense of fulfilment as an educator. Experiencing the nature and systematic process of teaching while seeing the positive impact I can give to the students evolves the passion for teaching into more meaningful life-long goals. Taking a step, performing the action and learning actively keeps the fire I have for teaching burning.
